A LUXeXceL brand and business unit focuses on the printing of optics for the LED Lighting Industry. Lifting current constraints in the lens production process and enabling, rapid prototyping and production. It is now a matter of 3D design creating transparent geometrical shapes via the depositing of transparent UV-cureable polymer drops onto a substrate to print lenses and laser cut them to size enabling fast 'on-demand' LED-lenses at low costs.
With the Printoptical Technology LUXeXceL offers the Lighting OEM significant cost reductions and time savings. Through the printing of lighting optics 'on demand', waiting times are reduced significantly, stock levels decreased and logistic processes shortened. Custom lenses and light distribution patterns can be rapidly designed to improve the manufacturing and logistics of LED lighting optic. Whether it is LED optic prototyping or low-volume production, LUXeXceL can manufacture the optic components, then employ various resources to assemble these systems, both large and small. We are able to print many different kinds of LED lenses in many different shapes and sizes. Fresnel, spherical, parabolic and other types of lenses can be printed in virtually any shape and size.
