Litefoil Basic

LUXeXceL motivates the users of Litefoil® using less energy through offering significant savings on the overall need for artificial lighting. Energy-saving Litefoil® window foils control the total amount of solar energy that is transmitted through glass. Litefoil® helps users consume less energy by cutting the demand for air conditioning and heating through an efficient control of 'hot spots'. This lowers peak usage in electrical power and let's cooling and heating systems operate more efficiently.

 

 

 

Operating

Litefoil's core competences concern the innovative material properties of the product. Through our optical printing processes we influence the properties of window foils. Sunlight is caught by the prism structure of the foil and forwarded into the depth of the room space. The total amount of sunlight is distributed into the direction of the ceiling, a significant part to the opposite wall and another part to the floor area. The 'light sensor' in the room space will identify the significant increase in the amount of light and will decrease the output of the artificial lighting. The extra amount of daylight that is available in the room will result in significant savings on energy and the overall need for electricity.

Litefoil® Basic applied on a light cupola of a distribution centre.  The application of Litefoil® results in a significant improvement of daylight in the hall and thereby an optimal light distribution and dispersal.

 

 

 

Installation & Accessories
A broad range of installation tooling is available tools to perform an easy and norm conform installation of the foil. Although the installation of Litefoil® is quite easy, our advice has always been to outsource the installation to a qualified window foil installer. Our specialists are qualified and certified to install all our products conforms to the highest quality standards.
