Introduction Printoptical Technology

What is Printoptical Technology?
LUXeXceL's Printoptical Technology offers various advances for markets were optics, optical structures or graphic effects are being used. As the potential is huge the R&D of LUXeXceL today concentrates on the designing and manufacturing of LED Lighting optics and graphic solutions as stained glass replicas and 'Printoptical Art (Graphical 3D Art).

Printoptical Process
On a transparent substrate such as PolyCarbonate, drops of clear UV-cureable polymer are jetted via the inkjet principal. The drop-sizes vary according to graphic design. The UV is cured via strong UV-lamps causing extreme polymerization resulting that the polymer will set straight away. This process is repeated for every layer or pixel resulting in transparent geometrical shapes, optical- and magnifying structures.

What can Printoptical Technology mean to you?
LUXeXceL allows you to build your own competence using this patented digital printing technology. The use of this technology reduces development time, stock, waste, transport and not sustainable production processes. Making e.g. LED lens or stained glass replica now is a matter of graphic design and this offers enormous advances. For the LED lighting industry the Printoptical Technology will disrupt every aspect of traditional lens development and production processes.

Focus on Progress
With full enthusiasm and success at LUXeXceL the technology was and is being developed. Every day the companies know how is increasing and leads to improved results. To keep full focus LUXeXceL manages business units/LUXeXceL daughter companies:

  • EXXELENS: Global lighting industry for LED lighting optics;
  • LUXIMPRESS: Global graphic industry;
  • LUXeXceL Printoptical Process Supplies: helping licensees with hardware, software, ink, accessories, training and support;
  • LUXeXceL Printoptical Productions: production of customer requests.
