Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect

Luxexcel is looking for a passionate Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect for its long-term R&D team. You will be dealing and leading top advanced basic and applied research with a clear focus in setting the basis for real products of the future using and enhancing our unique technology in the context of a start-up, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement .NET application software release practices that can be used enterprise wide to create a consistent and commonly understood process by all concerned parties
  • Perform production build/deploy activities for application releases
  • Support production deployments, assist with troubleshooting deployment issues
  • Assist with branching/merging in support of parallel development requirements
  • Collaborate with testing teams and assist with performance testing setups/executions
  • Develop .NET applications for the VisionPlatform as part of the monthly commercial releases
  • Serve as the SME for software development life-cycle tools – tools support testing, monitoring, integration/release and scheduling areas
  • Monitors usage and changes configurations to improve capacity or performance of servers

Skills and experience 

  • Hands on experience with Azure Cloud Architect technologies (Azure functions, Cosmos DB, IoT, Servicebus) 
  • Should be Azure Certified PAAS Architect Preferably in az 300 az 301 
  • Experience as Solution architect in Azure
  • Strong design and development experience in .Net & .Net CORE
  • Implementation experience with distributed applications working knowledge of software development DevOps tools and methodologies
  • Front-end development skills like angular/aurelia (is a plus)
  • Ability to lead and work with other team members, including mentoring less experienced team members
  • Ability to work with and understand business client requirements
